How Family Dynamics Effect Students' Behaviors and Ability to Learn

Educators everywhere are aware of increased classroom tensions and outbursts. Teachers and parents are frustrated out diminished academic proficiency. However, children haven't changed; childhood has.

This course focuses on the development between witnessing and/or experiencing violence, altered brain development, students' abilities to lean, and increased student aggression.

The workshop is broken up into four courses:

  • Family Systems and Childbearing: Influencing Conditions
  • The Specific Effects of Witnessing or Experiencing Violence on Children
  • Educational Opportunities for Trauma Recovery
  • Building Resilient Schools, Teachers and Students
